About Us
Advanced Pelvic Physiotherapy Centre is a physiotherapy practice specializing in pelvic care, located in downtown Toronto. Our team has extensive experience in treating individuals suffering from pelvic pain, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse, among other issues. We also offer comprehensive care during pregnancy and post-partum, pre and post-prostatectomy and other surgical care.
Pelvic pain is a complex problem. The pelvic area is where we often hold our stress and tension. Anxiety, as well as our thoughts, attitudes and beliefs, can perpetuate pain in the area. By helping you to understand how your pain system works, we can reduce the threat of ongoing pelvic issues. To achieve this goal, our team uses a comprehensive biopsychosocial framework to evaluate and treat your concerns.
At Advanced Pelvic Physiotherapy Centre, we provide first-line defence against pelvic floor dysfunction. We understand that all individuals have unique needs. We will conduct both subjective and objective evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans to help you meet your goals. We take great pride in collaborating with other health care providers to ensure patient-focused care. Ultimately, our goal is to help return your pelvic health to its optimal state and to allow you to live well again.
